What Aspect IsAspect is for individuals who seek greater clarity about their situation, their options, and the possibilities open to them in their personal or professional lives. It is a dialogical process designed to help individuals develop greater agency, enabling them to move forward in ways that are both realistic and meaningful.Through structured conversation and reflective exploration, clients clarify their priorities, define meaningful goals, and develop plans for progress.
What the process involvesWork typically begins by exploring the client’s current situation, identifying areas that feel significant, uncertain, or unresolved. From there, the discussion develops through clarification of priorities and assumptions, toward considering possible directions and next steps. Some conversations provide space for reflection and clearer understanding. Others lead to concrete decisions or plans. Both are valid outcomes.Conversations may involve:
• framing lived experience
• examining perspectives and assumptions
• clarifying priorities and goals
• exploring possible directions
• identifying realistic next steps
• developing structured plans where appropriate
ApproachAspect Practice is grounded in dialogue. Understanding, meaning, and clarity emerge through conversation rather than instruction.Elements of different coaching perspectives and frameworks may be brought into dialogue where useful, without assuming that any single model is universally applicable. The aim is not to prescribe change, but to help individuals understand their situation more clearly, enabling them to act with greater agency and purpose. The client remains the authority over their own choices and direction.
